Our menus incorporate classic dishes and some more contemporary choices, vegan, vegetarian, fish or meat choices

           Main Courses Meat 

  • Braised lamb shanks in a Guinness and rosemary sauce 
  • Chicken supreme in a red wine, mushroom and shallot sauce
  • Classic beef bourguignon with mushrooms, pancetta, shallots, and red wine sauce 
  • Chicken thighs with sumac, garlic, chilli, and pomegranate molasses, with spiced pilaf rice, minted yoghurt dressing
  • Boston baked beans with roasted Pork belly 
  • Classic roasted boned and rolled Turkey with a vegetarian lemon and thyme stuffing, pigs in blankets, white wine gravy, creamy bread sauce/cranberry sauce 
  • Chinese-style braised Pork shoulder with plums, spiced pilaf rice and pak choi 
  • Braised venison sausages in a red wine and onion sauce
               

         Main courses Vegan 

  • Cranberry and lentil Cakes with a rich vegan gravy 
  • Individual  Butternut squash Pithivier, with spinach, and pine nuts 
  • Mushroom stroganoff with dijon mustard, paprika, dairy-free creme fraiche 
  • Nut Roast with mixed nuts, chestnuts, cranberries, lemon, cranberry sauce, red wine gravy 

           Main course Vegetarian 

  • Indian spiced Roasted pumpkin with chickpeas, with yoghurt raita and flatbreads 
  • Roasted winter beetroot tart with sweet shallots and goat cheese
  • stuffed aubergine with feta, pomegranate molasses, spiced pilaf rice, minted yoghurt 

           Fish Main course 

  • Salmon fillets with salsa verde sauce and oven-roasted vine tomatoes
  • Penang fish curry with mixed white fish, served with sugar snap peas, and rice 
  • Christmas fish Pie with smoked haddock, eggs, prawns, parsley, topped with creamy mash

            Potato Dishes 

  • Potatoes with red wine, bay and coriander seeds
  • Crispy roast potatoes
  • Dauphinoise potatoes with garlic and cream
  • Roasted garlic mash

           Vegetables or salad 

  • Buttered sprouts with chestnut
  • Roasted cauliflower with red onions, and preserved lemons 
  • Buttered garlic broccoli
  • Honey-roasted parsnips and carrots 
  • Braised red cabbage with apples 
  • A medley of seasonal vegetables with herb butter 
  • salad verte mixed salad leaves, herbs, croutons, French dressing 
  • Winter coleslaw with walnuts and mustard and mayo dressing/nuts 

            Vegan Dessert      

  • spiced roasted pineapple with a rum syrup 
  • Festive crumble with apples, pears, cranberries, and almond topping  
  • Dark chocolate cheesecake with Oreo biscuit base
  • spiced cranberry and orange Jelly 

            Dessert 

  • Flourless dark chocolate torte with raspberries
  • Lemon meringue roulade with flaked almonds lemon cream and winter berries 
  • Star-topped mince pies with a brandy and orange cream / can be made vegan 
  • Individual sticky toffee puddings with a caramel sauce 
  • Chocolate profiteroles with a warm chocolate sauce 
  • Individual pavlovas with a passion fruit cream, mango and pomegranate
  • Vanilla-baked cheesecake with caramelised oranges 
  • Festive Yule Log with double cream, chocolate ganache and a cherry compote.
